Giving social media advice away for free

I am a big fan of Chris Brogan. I look forward to his newsletter and reading his posts. Not only is he a really smart guy, the thing I most admire is that he is isn’t afraid to share is vast knowledge with anyone and everyone.

I just read A Social Media Business Model That’s Really Social by Paul Chaney. He is looking at mentorship or the “pay it forward” concept. In the post Paul Chaney talks about Chris Brogan and how “He exemplifies this “give and it shall be given” attitude.” This concept is one that I think all businesses struggle with, but it is especially difficult in the world of social media.
